Who publishes this site

vivre-ensemble-luxembourg.com is published by Testrada Pte Ltd, the company that runs CivicLearn. CivicLearn has built citizenship and language exam courses since 2005 and prepares candidates for civics exams in Denmark, Luxembourg, Sweden and several other European countries.

The guide recommends CivicLearn's Vivre ensemble course, because that is the course we know and stand behind. We say so openly on every page that mentions it.

Not an official website

This is not a government website. We are not connected to the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth, the Service de la formation des adultes (SFA), which organises the course and the exam, or the Ministry of Justice, which decides on nationality applications. Registration for the course or the exam is free and happens only on the official portal.

Our practice questions are written from the official study material. They are not the exam's questions, and nobody outside the SFA has those.

How the guide is written and checked

Facts about the procedure come from official sources: guichet.lu, the ministry's pages on the Vivre ensemble course and exam, and the nationality law of 8 March 2017. Each page shows the date it was last checked. Where the official pages say nothing — for example about a pass mark — we say that, rather than guess.

The study chapters follow the three official areas and the official study brochures. The figures on the most-missed questions page come from anonymised CivicLearn practice data.
